		Job Description
A bit about the role:Support content strategy and enterprise-wide storytelling, creating compelling stories taken from across the country while building relationships across all regions for enhanced storytelling. This position reports to the Director of Internal Communications and works collaboratively with other departments and personnel to help tell the organization's story and increase engagement among friars and employees. This role works collaboratively with Director of Internal Communications in maintaining the editorial integrity (voice, tone, lexicon) of the organization, as well as the branding integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications vehicles, such as an intranet, monthly newsletters, and regular email bulletins. You may also be required to upload digital content.
• Draft communications including organizational announcements, presentations, messages, talking points, emails, speeches, etc. Design and distribute emails using Marketing Cloud and other communications tools.
• Collaborate with other departments to support content strategy and storytelling for engagement that promotes a well-informed organization.
• Assist with the development of electronic and printed marketing assets such as brochures and reports, event graphics and materials, and audio/visual productions.
• Create integrated written pieces for social media, internal website, web content and other communications channels
• Monitor and analyze key metrics and performance indicators; keep informed of trends and best practices.
• Execute town hall meetings or regular messages, as well as other employee events and communications.
• Copy editing.
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• BA in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or similar fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in journalism, public relations, marketing, communications, or related fields.
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including proficiencies in digital communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people, multiple projects, and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing programs.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design program.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite required.
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Creative, collaborative contributor with a can-do attitude and flexible to changing priorities; Passionate, kind, inclusive, and ethically minded.
This role may include occasional domestic US travel.
