DGT Producer
The Saint John Institute (SJI) is a non-profit 501c(3) organization with a vision to be the premier center for Catholic leadership formation for business professionals and families in the United States. Our mission is to inspire, equip, and engage Christians to lead their family, business, and culture by surpassing, innovative formation programs and communities through 4 ministries: Eagle Eye Ministries (EEM), the Saint John Leadership Institute (SJLI), and Saint John Leadership Network (SJLN), and Dare Great Thingsc (DGT). Our studio team consists of a Cinematographer, a President/Executive Producer, Producer, and contracted contributors (including clergy). We create content for DareGreatThings.org in our recording studio, films events on location as we evangelize through the EEM and SJI programming in our travels abroad. In addition to DGT content production, the DGT team cross-collaborates on inter-departmental requests to promote ministry campaigns and programs. The DGT team produces a range of content from leadership formation education for SJLN members to paid per view (PPV) content accessible to the public. DGT is positioned for its next stage of growth. The next phase of DGT content will address the 9-step arch of SJI's founding philosophy, the Daring Leader.

The goal of DGT is to host our ministries' content as we introduce and guide Christians to adopt the philosophies of the Daring Leader into their spheres of influence through written articles, videos, podcasts, and live streams. In addition, DGT gives the ministries a platform to publish tailored content to their audiences and in-person events, according to the 9-step arch. Strategy: Through free content, event advertising, PPVs or subscription exclusives, and sponsored series, DGT will encourage people to dive deeper into their faith and apply it to settings in the workplace, community, and in the home. Initially, DGT will prioritize its content on providing media support for SJLN's corporate partners and members while creating a sustainable delivery of free content for public consumption. This is a new full-time salaried position with benefits. The DGT Producer reports to the Executive Producer/President. Mass offered on site. Office hours are 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Exceptional project management of pre-postproduction schedules with DGT Team
• Manage all production requests (including briefs from other ministries) with Director of Cinematography
• Develop and manage DGT annual budget
• Contract and manage crew/talent for content writing and productions according to established systems
• Create and manage all contracts and permits according to established systems
• Build and facilitate partnerships/sponsorships/promotional opportunities
• Ensure paywall functionality in close coordination with the Business Office

Producer (90%)
• Update and finalize all project management plans and production schedules for 6/1 DGT launch
• Secure and manage content contributors, their contracts, and production schedules
• Plan and coordinate topics for content writers with DGT team
• Create a list of leads for blog contributors
• Create an onboarding plan for content writers
• Edit and approve submitted content
• Distribute monthly writing assignments to ministry directors
• Oversee DGT website and work with webmaster to ensure accuracy and functionality
• Ensure and drive the completion of the free content on DGT to SJLN members
• Update the DGT platform to be ready to capture and manage blog content
• Facilitate weekly DGT team meetings: drive timelines, finalize the DGT content strategy with metrics
• Ensure paywall readiness to receive subscribers and process payments by collaborating with business office on processing payments
• Plan and execute a test phase for the DGT site before implementation
• Organize and expand the repository for videos, classes, podcasts, and blog content
• Organize the repository and schedule for Corporate Business Partners' content
• Create a promotion plan for sponsors to support DGT, utilize ad space
• Manage production rights
• Manage cast and crews
• Build external relationships with partners and sponsors to supplement production budget
• Manage payment schedules to resources, investors, and sponsors

Other Duties as Assigned (10%)
• Meet with President and Director of Cinematography at least once per week
• Actively participate in team meetings, events, special events including annual meeting
• Some evening meetings and/or weekend work may be required
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications
Required
• Demonstrated ability to develop project plans from a written strategy
• Demonstrated success in project management
• Experience with creating scopes of work for contractors
• Familiarity with Excel (including pivot tables and most common formulas), Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to cooperate well with others and demonstrate effective teamwork across departments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Timely, effective communication and collaboration with the team
• Strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability, flexibility, and demonstrated ability to succeed in fast-changing environments
• Moral life according to the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Teachable spirit. Willing to take on new tasks as assigned.

Preferred
• Experience in a non-profit organization

Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
