Job Description

Job Summary:
As the Client Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating and implementing an agency partner's ideas into actional items for the Mission By Design team. In addition to project management, coordination, and effective communication, you will lead the implementation, guide project execution, and leverage marketing, design, and communication skills to drive success. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and possess a diverse skill set including project management, web development, graphic design, copywriting, and the ability to handle constructive feedback.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation team and oversee project execution, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Work closely with the Founder to translate visionary ideas into actionable strategies, project plans, and deliverables.
- Utilize marketing and communication knowledge to enhance project outcomes and drive success for clients.
- Use design programs such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools to create compelling visuals and materials for projects.
- Apply web development skills to enhance online presence, optimize websites, and support digital marketing efforts.
- Utilize copywriting skills to create engaging content for projects, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
- Facilitate open communication within the team and be receptive to blunt feedback, using it as an opportunity for growth and improvement.
- Maintain project documentation, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to provide guidance, support, and resources needed for project success.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Service, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, leadership, and successful project implementation.
- Knowledge of marketing and communication strategies to drive project success and engagement.
- Proficiency in design programs such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other design tools.
- Above-average web development skills to support online initiatives and enhance digital presence.
- Excellent copywriting skills for creating compelling content and communicating effectively.
- Ability to receive and apply blunt feedback (from clients or team members) constructively for personal and professional growth.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Location:
The job is located in North County, San Diego. The ideal candidate will be in-person at our Escondido office at least 50% of the time, however, may work at the office or remotely in a more flexible fashion the remainder of the time. Some travel and nights or weekends will be required to work on client projects or events.

Compensation:
This position pays between $20 and $40 per hour, depending on experience and fit. After 90 days, a good fit will receive a salary offer based on their performance and the average number of hours mutually agreed upon.
