Located near the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Saint Clare's is a Catholic Montessori school seeking a full-time Adolescent Program (7th & 8th grades) Co-Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year.

Saint Clare's is a Catholic Montessori school in the Diocese of Reno, in its sixth year of operation, serving fifty students. At Saint Clare's we combine a vibrant Catholic community, an authentic Montessori curriculum and a passion for outdoor exploration and adventure. Inspired by Saint Clare's love of the eucharist with school-wide participation in weekly mass and adoration, our mission is to help students know the Truth, love the Good and grow into the fullness of their created potential.

We are looking for a candidate with a devout Catholic faith, a joyful heart, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to join our faculty. The candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work with the school's Adolescent Program (7th & 8th grade) class during its third year of operation. Candidates will work alongside other talented educators while contributing to the team by teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics, science, and micro-economy classes as well as assisting the class with a variety of weekly engagements including adoration, community service, managing the class's student-run coffee shop, greenhouse gardening, woodworking and more! Essential to a Montessori Adolescent Program is the ability to challenge students with engaging multi-disciplinary project-based learning.

Professional development opportunities are available for applicants who are a great fit for our school community but lack Montessori training/experience.

Pay is competitive and based on experience and education. Medical/Dental/Vision benefits are offered to all full-time employees.
