Job Description

The primary purpose of the Project Manager is to advance the mission of the Servants of Christ Jesus by promoting strategic planning, expanding financial development, and extending missionary and vocational outreach.

The Project Manager reports to the Director of Operations for the Servants and the Communications Director.

Qualifications and Experience
• Practicing Catholic
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years business and/or ministry experience with 1-3 years' experience in development or public relations
• Strong written and verbal skills

Business Skills
• Graphic design skills and competence with publishing software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva)
• Proficiency in Web Design and maintenance (Squarespace)
• Competence with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
• Facility in maintaining a CRM/donor database (Bloomerang)
• Knowledge of Quickbooks/Accounting Practices
• Experience in recruiting, forming, and leading other Christian leaders

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning
1. Participate with the Servants of Christ Jesus in developing and sustaining strategic plans to advance vocational development, financial development, and ministry development.
2. Support the creation of an Advisory Board

Public Relations
1. Create and publish quarterly newsletter for the Servants of Christ Jesus.
2. Redesign and create content for community and ministry websites.
3. Design and publish materials for vocational, ministerial, and financial development
Maintain communication with Advisory Board and Finance Council

Financial Development
1. Prepare and maintain development budget and calendar
2. Provide development reports for community and Finance Council
3. Manage communication between community and benefactors
4. Maintain records of benefactors and donations
5. Oversee the progress and conclusion of the Capital Campaign

Vocational Development
1. Coordinate community vocation recruiting weekends
2. Communicate with colleges regarding Vocation Days and promoting vocations
3. Support communication with vocation prospects
4. Consult with other religious communities to improve recruiting and application materials

Ministry Development
1. Coordinate opportunities for the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius
2. Create promotional materials for the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius
3. Revise, publish, and promote printed and online resources for Patriarch (Bible Study for Fatherly Leadership created by Fr. John Ignatius)
4. Manage communication regarding Patriarch
5. Oversee Patriarch retreats and events
6. Support communication regarding University Campus Ministry
