Executive Director

Job Description

The Executive Director is responsible for the development and implementation of RTLL programs and policies in fulfillment of RTLL's mission to promote the dignity of every human life. The Executive Director will work with the Board of Directors to continue growing RTLL programs and influence, building out the organization's structure and strategic plan, supervising RTLL staff, and regularly reporting to the President of the RTLL Board of Directors. This position is part-time but has the potential for full-time employment.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate:
• Commitment to the pro-life cause;
• Extensive knowledge of pro-life issues and legislation;
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing staff, members, media, and other external parties;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience in spontaneous and planned public speaking and media interviews;
• Literacy in technology and social media; and
• General knowledge of business practices relating to managing, budgeting, purchasing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Right to Life Louisville (RTLL) is a non-profit organization established in 1971, nearly two years before Roe v Wade. As Kentucky's oldest pro-life organization we have been the leader in opposing abortion and preventing euthanasia in the greater Louisville area for over 50 years. RTLL works to educate and communicate the truth about the wonder of life; we engage in grassroots activism and advocate for pro-life legislation & policies at the local and state levels.
