Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catholic Religion Teacher to join our middle school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Religion to students in grades 6-8, fostering a love for the Catholic faith, and guiding students in their spiritual and moral development.

## Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Catholic doctrine, scripture, and moral teachings.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages students to grow in their Catholic faith.
- Participate in planning liturgical celebrations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Catholic teachings across the curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress.

## Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Theology, Religious Education, or a related field.
- State teaching certification.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
- Experience teaching Religion in a middle school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Catholic faith and its teachings.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
