Position Mission

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing department in various activities to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support marketing efforts across departments. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a talented team, contributing to the overall success of FOCUS.

Position Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote SEEK, Missions, Retreats, Summer Projects, and other departments.
Support campaign and creative planning with end-to-end project management, and work cross-functionally to ensure cohesive, integrated workflows, communication, and strategies across departments and within the Marketing team.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, coordinating strategic planning sessions, and preparing presentations.
Lead workflows across projects that include but are not limited to collecting and disseminating meeting notes/action items, building creative briefs, managing timelines and tracking project deliverables.
Collaborate and engage across multi-functional teams within Marketing as well as other FOCUS departments, external marketing agencies, and vendors.
Optimize resources and outcomes through efficient planning and project management.
Develop and maintain key relationships with internal & external partners, driving a culture of collaboration.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Passion for our mission and commitment to the organization's values.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Monday.com, and Canva.
Strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Previous experience in customer service, event coordination or project management is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $75,000/year. (This role is also eligible for bonus pay.) This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.

Personal Mission Partner Development (MPD) is one way in which the FOCUS Mission Foundation invites others to be on mission with us through the gift of their financial support. In this position, the Marketing Specialist will be expected to fundraise a minimum of $3,260 per month to support their work with the FOCUS Mission Foundation. To thrive in serving the mission, the candidate will receive world-class training in this area and ample time to engage in their fundraising efforts.

About the Employer

The FOCUS Mission Foundation Marketing team supports the mission of FOCUS by communicating with students, benefactors, staff, and others. The Marketing Program Director plans, monitors, and manages various projects, often from initiation through completion. He or she typically juggles multiple projects at a time, overseeing execution by Marketing team members and external vendors, ensuring that work meets technical, budgetary, and timing needs.
