Pastoral Minister

Job Description

Make Communion calls, and visits to those in hospitals, care facilities, and home bound. Coordinate scheduling of baptisms. Officiate at grave-site services and other special services. Prepare worship area for funerals, reconciliation services, and other celebrations. Manage spiritual and outreach initiatives, and prep bible study meeting rooms. Occasionally write reflections for bulletin. When Father is on vacation or there is an extended absence, plan funerals and take after-hours' calls. Other duties as assigned. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and must be a practicing catholic. Previous pastoral care training or a Religious Studies Degree is preferred, but not required. Flexible schedule. Requires occasional evening and weekend work.
