Job Description

Religion Teacher- Part Time for Grades 6 and 8
We are seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Religion Teacher to join our Blue Ribbon Catholic school community. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
Responsibilities:
• Teach Religion classes in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the school's curriculum.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages faith formation, prayer, respect, and Christian values.
• Integrate Catholic identity and Gospel values throughout daily instruction and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and families to support student growth and development.
• Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and other faith-based activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.
Qualifications:
• Practicing Catholic in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Theology or a related field.
• We welcome the candidacy of teachers who have specialized in other subjects during their career, but are passionate about sharing the Catholic faith and inspiring students to grow academically, spiritually, and morally in a nurturing Catholic school environment.
• Valid state teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Salary:
Compensation is commensurate with the candidate's experience and teaching responsibilities, at an hourly rate of $33-$40. The position requires approximately 10-12 hours per week.
