Director of Art Instruction

Job Description

The position is for two days per week teaching students from age 3 in Nursery School to Grade 8. The Director will coordinate Art instruction with the classroom teachers to develop themed art projects that align with the curriculum being taught. Throughout the school year a project will be done in each of the 4 major subjects. In addition, Art projects will be developed to enhance the student's appreciation of works of art and creativity in developing their own works. The successful candidate will be energetic and creative with a desire to think outside the box. Salary is commensurate with education level and experience. A related Masters' degree in Art or Education is required.
