Job Description
Full-time teaching position with benefitsDiocese of Brooklyn/Queens
Positive, warm and friendly work environment
Teacher must be comfortable in a classroom setting.
4th & 5th grade Religion, Social Studies and Science.
Minimum Requirement - Bachelor's Degree, in addition to some classroom experience preferred with the intention to be on a pathway to certification.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-comprehensive lesson planning
-fostering engaging lessons including small group instruction and differentiation strategies
-coordinating classroom activities
-collaborating with team teachers and administration
-knowledge and willingness to teach the Catholic faith
-manage classroom behavior
