Director of Admissions and MarketingChesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory

Salary Range: $45-$60K annually
Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory, a joyful and growing Catholic classical high school, is seeking a passionate, mission-driven leader to serve as Director of Admissions & Marketing. As Director, you will have the unique opportunity to serve our new and existing families, accomplish our vision for enrollment growth, and share our mission and vision within the wider community. Reporting directly to the Headmaster, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school. We are looking for a candidate that is energized by the opportunity to help grow a vibrant Catholic classical school community, rooted in faith, truth, goodness, and beauty.
For a qualified candidate without sufficient years of experience, in-house on-the-job training and mentoring will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Admissions, Student Recruiting & Outreach
Create and lead a compelling recruitment plan to build a prospective student pipeline from inquiry to acceptance in order to support the ongoing growth of the school. Duties include:
- Maintaining all prospective student recruiting and admissions information.
- Planning and overseeing all open houses, coordinating student speakers, and guiding families through the admissions journey.
- Managing and coordinating all admissions events with faculty, students, and committees, including family events and tours, shadow days, and high school placement testing.
- Forging strong partnerships with local parishes and K-8 schools, cultivating authentic relationships with pastors, principals, and community leaders.
- Representing the school with enthusiasm at festivals, parish events, and community gatherings.
- Training and leading our incredible Student Ambassadors to help share the Chesterton story.
- Coordinating applicant interview process with the Headmaster.
2. Marketing, Communications & Public Presence
Design and implement marketing and communication efforts to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Duties include:
- Designing and creating all promotional materials, both physical and online, while maintaining Chesterton brand standards.
- Managing and prioritizing incoming requests for marketing materials from the Headmaster and other school staff, including but not limited to fundraising, events, concerts, etc.
- Leading and coordinating all communications (weekly newsletter, special announcements, school and fundraising events, etc.) in collaboration with the Headmaster and other school staff.
- Maintaining and enhancing Our Lady of Victory's online presence through our website, social media, and beyond (via Instagram, Facebook, Canva, etc.).
- Serving as a joyful public face of the school alongside the Headmaster and other school staff.

Qualifications
- A practicing Catholic in good standing
- Commitment to the mission and culture of Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory
- A natural communicator with the ability to convey the school's mission, impacts, and needs
- Ability to build strong relationships with prospective students
- Must possess the highest integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in dealing with colleagues, benefactors, parents, and students
- Outstanding computer skills
- A creative marketer with experience using Canva, Instagram, Meta, Facebook, and CRM systems
- Highly organized and proactive leader and team member, with a strong sense of initiative
- Project manager capable of planning and running events
- Ability to work under pressure
- Both an independent worker and effective collaborator
- A bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent in experience

Schedule
- Full-time (40+ hours/week), with seasonal peaks in Fall and Spring
- Potential flexible schedule during July and school breaks
- Some weekend and evening events required
