Director of Parish Engagement and Outreach

Job Description

St. Mark Catholic Church is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven leader to serve as our Director of Parish Engagement & Outreach. This full-time position is responsible for helping parishioners encounter Christ through service, fellowship, and meaningful community connections while supporting parish communications and growth initiatives.

The Director will develop volunteer opportunities, coordinate parish outreach initiatives, build partnerships with local nonprofits and community organizations, create welcoming social events, and help foster a vibrant culture of belonging within the parish. The role will also collaborate on parish communications, promote engagement opportunities, share stories of impact and how they support the parish mission.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who is passionate about evangelization, hospitality, and service. We are seeking a strong relationship-builder with exceptional organizational and communication skills who can recruit and lead volunteers, manage multiple projects, and inspire others to become engaged in parish life.

Candidates may come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including nonprofit leadership, fundraising, communications, marketing, business development, volunteer management, community engagement, event planning, hospitality, or parish ministry.
