Job Description

Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds
St. John's Jesuit High School & Academy is collecting resumes for a skilled and mission-driven Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds to lead the care, planning, and operations of our campus facilities. The selected candidate will work closely with the current Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds during an extended, hands-on transition period. This position offers a unique opportunity to steward a beautiful and historic campus, ensuring it remains safe, functional, and inspiring for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, construction, and groundskeeping across our campus and offsite properties.
Lead a dedicated maintenance team and supervise our Transportation Coordinator.
Manage a $600K+ budget, ensuring high-quality service and financial stewardship.
Coordinate capital projects, inspections, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
Act as a visible and collaborative leader who supports the Jesuit mission in both word and action.
Qualified candidates will have:
3-5 years of experience in building operations or facilities management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Working knowledge of construction projects, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with capital project planning and vendor management.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for our community.

Compensation:
