Job Description
Description: We are seeking a dynamic pro-life young adult who is well-spoken and creative, to help reach Gen Z teens, young adults and others with the pro-life and chastity messages. In this role, you will be making presentations, and carrying out projects to advance the cause of the unborn child. This is an in-person position. When not making presentations at various venues, you will be working from our office space at the Archdiocese of Newark Center in Newark, NJ.Key Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator/Speaker will carry out LIFENET's mission of spreading the pro-life and chastity messages to youth and adults and growing the pro-life movement in New Jersey.
The major duties of this position include:
• Learning all of LIFENET's Pro-Life and Chastity presentations and mastering public speaking skills.
• Making LIFENET presentations in churches, schools, etc., throughout New Jersey and helping our Speakers Director to solicit speaking engagements.
• Assisting with other tasks including office work, fundraising, creating social media postings, planning events, web design, etc.
• Attending all LIFENET events, trainings and essential meetings
• Upholding the policies established by LIFENET Inc.'s Management and carrying out all work assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and present a professional image
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are required
• Previous experience working in the pro-life movement a plus
• Some occasional evening and weekend work is required for events/trainings.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license and have a car at their regular disposal for off-site presentations, events, meetings, etc.
