Job Description

Executive Director

The Jesuit Retreat Center, located in Parma, OH, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director. The Executive Director provides leadership, direction, and supervision of all programs and activities. The Jesuit Retreat Center serves over 7,000 retreatants annually at its 57-acre site in suburban Cleveland.

A candidate must be a Roman Catholic in good standing. Training or experience with Ignatian Spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises, and/or retreat ministry is preferred. The candidate must also be well-versed in the Mission and Vision statements of the Jesuit Retreat Center.

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree a plus. The Executive Director is expected to be an excellent communicator and to have experience as a collaborative, visionary leader of a non-profit organization. Background or formal education in business administration, development, organizational leadership, and management is a valuable asset.
