Location: Columbus, Ohio (Open to Hybrid within Ohio)

Job Summary:
The Ohio Catholic School Accreditation Association (OCSAA) seeks a Director to lead the state accreditation process and support Catholic schools in Ohio. The Director is accountable to the Executive Director of the Catholic Conference of Ohio (CCO) and is responsible to the "OCSAA Commission," comprised of the diocesan Superintendents in Ohio.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison to the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
• Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the OCSAA.
• Provide training in the accreditation process.
• Develop and process OCSAA documents.
• Establish and maintain a database on the status of all member schools.
• Maintain a digital file on the OCSSA web portal for each member school that applies for accreditation.
• Provide all communication required for operation of the OCSAA.
• Serve as executive secretary for the OCSAA Commission, the Review Committee, the Progress Review Committee, and other committees established by the OCSAA Commission.
• Represent the OCSAA Commission before other agencies and groups (e.g., the Ohio dioceses and their schools, other accrediting associations).
• Keep informed regarding research on school evaluation and governmental matters affecting the OCSAA.
• Establish and maintain a list of approved chairpersons for External Validation Teams and appoint chairpersons.
• Review corrective action plans for schools that are granted Conditional Accreditation and make recommendations to the OCSAA Commission.
• Issue noncompliance warnings to schools when directed by the OCSAA Commission.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the Executive Director of the Catholic Conference of Ohio and the OCSAA Commission.

Qualifications and Skills:
• A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
• Bachelor's Degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• Experience working in Catholic school leadership and implementing continuous improvement plans.
• Competency in current technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, database and web portal management).
• Ability and willingness to work independently and collaboratively and interact with individuals and groups.
• Ability to execute directives with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong skills in oral and written communication.
• Reliable transportation for travel throughout Ohio.
