Job Description

Resurrection & Calvary Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is seeking a Preneed Sales Professional. The ideal candidate is sympathetic and comfortable navigating conversations around death and bereavement. We are looking for someone with a hunter sales mentality that is good at multi-tasking and would enjoy a commission-based compensation package. We offer a generous retirement and insurance benefits, including health and dental at no cost. A background check and Safe Environment training will be required. Strong sales experience in the cemetery industry is required. Bilingual preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Generation/Obtain Referrals

Explains and Presents Presentations

Teamwork with all staff members of Resurrection and Calvary Cemetery

Provides tours for families that visit cemeteries

Reports all sales leads, and contracts with Executive Director

Build and maintain aftercare database

Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred

3 years of experience in cemetery sales

Proven track record of success in cemetery sales

Valid driver's license

Able to pass background check

Able to complete Safe Environment training with Archdiocese of Oklahoma City

Experience working for a Catholic diocese is strongly preferred. Technical computer skills in Microsoft 365 and family of apps. Must be an active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church that possesses an affinity with the overall mission of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
