Job Description
Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Vienna, VA is hiring a qualified Literature Teacher for our Middle School students in grades 6-8 for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in August. Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree (education degree or related subject area preferred), and possess or be working towards VCEA or Commonwealth of Virginia teaching certification. This position requires the candidate to teach Literature, which is acore curriculum area, and supervise a homeroom of students in grades 6, 7, or 8. Candidates must demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, develop engaging, differentiated lessons with written plans, direct students in hands-on activities, and provide feedback through timely grading of submitted work and trimester report cards.
