An Elementary Education Teacher at Holy Family Catholic Academy (HFCA) is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of young learners. Working within the Diocese of Brooklyn, this role blends rigorous academic instruction integrated with a vibrant Catholic mission to cultivate student curiosity and potential.

Job Responsibilities include the following:
Plan and execute hands-on, student-centered elementary lessons aligned with HFCA's academic frameworks and Catholic values.

Adapt and individualize teaching strategies to support distinct learning needs effectively in small-group environments.

As a representative of the Catholic Church, leading or participating in religious instruction, ceremonies, and school rituals

Classroom Management: Maintain a secure, respectful, and organized classroom culture that honors the dignity of every student.

Parent Collaboration: Maintain regular, clear, and professional communication with parents regarding academic progress and behavioral growth.

Administrative Compliance: Record accurate student attendance, track academic grades, and actively participate in annual performance reviews.

Professional Growth: Attend mandatory faculty meetings and engage in required professional development and Catholic identity formation training.

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related field is required.
