Job Description
Villa Maria Academy Lower SchoolVilla Maria Academy Lower School, a private independent Catholic school sponsored by the IHM Sisters, is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and nurturing Full-Time Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. Villa has two Pre-K classes.

We seek an educator who embraces our mission, inspires curiosity and wonder, and creates a classroom environment where young learners feel safe, valued, challenged, and loved.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with PreK teaching staff for planning shared events while maintaining your individual classroom as a joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for Pre-K students.
Foster students' academic readiness through hands-on, experiential learning in all curriculum areas.
Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily classroom experiences.
Support the social and emotional development of young children through positive relationships and classroom community building.
Collaborate with ECE and Pre-K colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student growth and success.
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with families.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Pennsylvania teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
Experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to the mission of Catholic education and to learn the charism of the IHM Sisters.
