Job Description
St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and School in Medford, is seeking one full time Guidance Counselor to begin in August 2025. Our school is vibrant with approximately 380 students enrolled in PreK-8th Grades.The Guidance Counselor's responsibilities include: supporting students' social and emotional well being, completing classroom lessons at all grade levels, writing and coordinating accommodation plans for students, leading a pupil assistance committee, and acting as a liaison between 8th grade and high school.
Ideal candidates will hold an N.J. School Counselor Certificate, have experience in the area of guidance counseling, possess good collaborative skills, have 21st century tech skills, and be committed to a Catholic education. Successful candidates will be subject to fingerprinting/background check and Virtus training.
