Family Renewal Project, a vibrant Catholic apostolate within the Archdiocese of Louisville, is seeking serious applicants for the position of Executive Director.

Grounded in the Theology of the Body, our organization is poised to celebrate its 10th anniversary in June 2026. We have grown into a dynamic team of nine full-time members, including three devoted volunteers (all co-founders of the organization). Our work focuses on forming and equipping Catholic disciples to build strong marriages and families, and in turn restore the broader culture. In an innovative twist on traditional recruitment, we challenge prospective candidates to craft and submit their own job description for the Executive Director role. This proposal should articulate your strategic vision, leadership approach, and how you would propel our apostolate forward while upholding our core values of family renewal and Catholic fidelity. All compelling and pertinent submissions will advance to an online "Predictive Index" assessment. Following a careful review of these results and applicant submissions, selected candidates will be invited to interview, either in person or via video for those outside the Louisville area.

Family Renewal Project is a lay-Catholic, nonprofit based in Louisville, Kentucky on mission to "restore the family in order to renew the culture by educating and forming men and women to understand, embrace, and live authentic love and responsibility." Led by the Holy Spirit, we are faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Through our Community, Courses, and Counseling, and following the example of the Holy Family, we do the slow, hard, intentional work of making disciples. We help people discover their story through a tailored formation experience, inspired by St. John Paul the Great's Theology of the Body.
