Our Lady of the Visitation/St Jude the Apostle Parish/St Joseph Parish

Divine Mercy Family of Parishes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, care, and upkeep of our parish and school facilities.

This full-time position plays an important role in helping maintain safe, clean, welcoming, and well functioning environments for worship, education, ministry, and parish life across our campuses.

Responsibilities
• Performing general building repairs and preventative maintenance
• Assisting with upkeep of parish and school facilities and grounds
• Supporting event setup and facility preparation
• Troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment and systems
• Responding promptly to maintenance and service requests
• Coordinating with outside vendors and contractors
• Helping ensure buildings remain safe, operational, and well-maintained
• Assisting with custodial and daily operational needs

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school in electrical, HVAC or mechanical
systems helpful
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, custodial work, or related trades preferred
• Basic knowledge of building systems, repairs and maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors)
• Commitment to professionalism and respectful service in a parish and school environment
• Must pass background check and comply with all parish safety and child-protection (SafeParish)
requirements
• Valid driver's licenses and reliable transportation

Employment Details
• Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position
• Reports to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager and Director of Operations
