Overview
The Office of Campus Ministry fosters opportunities for evangelization and catechesis on how the Gospel and Church teaching inform the conscience for promoting and integrating the vision of Catholic Social Teaching for the Catholic University community. The Assistant Campus Minister for Residence Ministry oversees student ministry programming within the residence halls, which includes but is not limited to the selection, training, coordination, and ongoing formation of Residence Ministers.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Associate Director of Campus Ministry, the Chaplains for Undergraduate Formation, and the Project Coordinator for Student Formation on the following areas and initiatives:
Student Ministry
Student Ministry Training
Catechetical formation
Retreats, pilgrimages, and mission trips
On campus programming

Facilitate and implement the vision, ongoing training, and formation program for Residence Ministers (RMs) by doing the following:
Provide training and formation to RMs at annual trainings and weekly formation meetings
Coordinate the Residence Minister selection process
Guide and support RMs at bi-weekly 1:1 supervision meetings
Plan and implement programmatic functions of Residence Ministry

Plan, manage, and implement small groups/Bible studies coordinated by the Campus Ministry office and led by Residence Ministers. Record and manage data on participation in specific areas/ministry. Generate various reports based on this data. Manage budget specific to area/ministry. Be a good steward of financial resources. Participate in weekly staff meetings, prayers, and lunches. Provide a ministry of presence to all students, staff and faculty on campus. Provide support and appropriate referral to those experiencing crisis.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology or related field preferred. At least 5 years of professional ministerial and managerial experience required. First-hand experience of FOCUS, St. Paul's Outreach, NET, or some other national peer-ministry program strongly preferred. Candidates must be very detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite.

The ability to drive a vehicle (campus or non-campus) on behalf of university business. Possession of current and valid U.S. driver's license appropriate to the type of university vehicle and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) as stipulated in the Vehicle Guidelines and Procedures Manual administered through the office of Environmental Health and Safety. Annual clearance of MVR check through the Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
