Job Description
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through Eighth Grade Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, has an immediate opening for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher of Spanish for the Intermediate and Middle Level grades. The Spanish Substitute Teacher will work closely with a teaching team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in and passion for Spanish language and culture, with an ability to engage students in an appreciation for both. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny.
