Middle School Science and Math Teacher

Job Description

St. Mary School is seeking a faith-filled Science and Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The teacher is responsible for supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the teachings of the Church, acting as a witness to Gospel values and facilitating a positive environment.

St. Mary's is a small school with a big vision.

Located close to the Smoky Mountains, St. Mary's is a parish school of the Diocese of Knoxville and has a Nashville Dominican Sister as its principal, along with a dynamic faculty and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
-be an actively practicing Catholic who has a desire to share the faith with students.
-be committed to academic excellence and a willingness to meet the educational needs of the individual student.
-experience in utilizing technology in the classroom for teaching and learning in an age-appropriate manner.
-work in partnership with teachers, specialists, support staff, and administration.
-communicate effectively with students, families, staff members and the community.
-have a BA/BS degree.
-hold a valid teaching license
-have appropriate educational experiences.
