Job Description
Position OverviewWe are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital presence and provide marketing support for a fast-growing nonprofit making a meaningful impact in schools and communities. The ideal candidate is passionate about mission-driven work, skilled in design and digital communication, and excited to take initiative in a collaborative, start-up-style environment.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director and play a central role in shaping Smart Families' visual identity, online presence, and parent-facing resources.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and distribute monthly digital newsletters and downloadable guides using Canva
• Maintain, update, and enhance website content and design (Wix platform)
• Manage and update the organization's online store (Wix eCommerce)
• Assist with digital analytics and website performance reporting
• Create marketing collateral, including flyers, postcards, posters, and signage
• Support the development of branded presentations (PowerPoint)
• Develop and schedule content for social media platforms
• Organize and maintain a digital resource and reference library
• Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to team planning
• Lead and support new marketing and design projects as the organization grows

Skills & Qualifications
• Proficiency in Canva, Wix, and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong design instincts and attention to detail
• Excellent written and visual communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Self-starter with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) is a plus
• Familiarity with nonprofit or mission-driven work is a plus
