St. Peter School - Middle School Teacher (Language Arts & Social Studies)Location: Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
Position: Full-Time (with Benefits)
St. Peter School, a vibrant Catholic elementary school located in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching:
Language Arts for Grades 5 and 6
Social Studies for Grades 6 and 7
The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, faith-based education, and the development of the whole child. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to:
Plan and implement engaging, standards-based lessons
Create a supportive and structured classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of learners
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
Integrate Catholic values into the curriculum and daily instruction
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
Valid NJ Teaching Certificate (or eligibility)
Prior teaching experience in middle school grades preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A willingness to support the mission and Catholic identity of the school
