Job Description
Lead an innovative regional children's faith formation program in south St. Louis, casting vision, designing curriculum, and coaching catechists, so children attending public schools become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church.The Program
Saint Stephen Protomartyr Parish together with neighboring parishes, debuted Faith Adventures in the 2025-2026 school year and now seeks a new director to grow the program in its second year. Faith Adventures is a regional children's faith formation program for south St. Louis City. The program provides instruction equivalent to a standard Parish School of Religion program in a bold new format emphasizing lived experiences of Catholic prayer, community, and service, followed by age appropriate small groups. The Position
We are looking for a full-time Program Director whose personal faith in Christ, entrepreneurial spirit, and curriculum development skills will lead our parishes in presenting monthly faith formation experiences on Sundays, together with additional activities to help children become disciples and grow as disciples.
Our Program Director will work 35 hours a week. Salary is $53,000-$56,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
If a candidate prefers, the role can be 20 hours a week paying $30,000-$35,000 per year, depending on skills and experience, supported by a 15 hours a week Administrative Assistant.
