Position Title: Director, Digital Engagement and MarketingReports to: CEO
Position: Full-Time, Hybrid/Remote, Exempt
Location: Remote
Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

FADICA-Catholic Philanthropy Network supports effective philanthropy in service to a vital Catholic Church and the common good. We serve as a leading philanthropic peer network, promoting the impact of Catholic philanthropy. Based in Washington DC, FADICA's membership includes approximately 350 individuals who are engaged in national and international philanthropy, members of family foundations, religiously sponsored foundations, community foundations, grantmaking organizations, as well as individual funders. The Opportunity
FADICA currently hosts a longstanding digital platform, the Catholic Funding Guide, and is expanding its digital presence and platforms in support of effective and high impact Catholic philanthropy. The Director of Digital Engagement and Marketing is a new role that will lead FADICA's digital engagement initiatives and external communications. This is an exciting opportunity at the intersection of faith-based philanthropy and digital technology. The Director will work with a small team and is responsible for the development of a new digital platform and related tools to reach new audiences. As a member of the management team, the Director will provide important strategic insights for advancing the organization's mission.
Responsibilities
New Digital Platform Development
In collaboration with Technology director, lead creation of a new philanthropy platform. Lead vision, content creation, integration with existing platforms and resources, and ensure highly positive and user-friendly experience.
Provide supervision and strategic direction to a team of specialists handling technical web development, digital marketing, web content, graphic design, etc.
Lead and create digital engagement and marketing strategy for new platform.
Digital & Content Strategy
Serve as lead content creator, developing values-aligned messaging for communications and digital engagement and marketing initiatives.
Oversee website-related marketing and ensure high engagement through digital efforts and platforms.
Evaluate and implement new marketing tools and best practices for nonprofit communications.
Strategic Marketing & Brand Awareness
Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive engagement, visibility and awareness of FADICA.
Direct and lead cross-channel marketing strategies (digital, social, web, print) to ensure consistent organizational messaging.
Maintain high brand standards and supervise branding, collateral, and creative projects.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional and lived experience.
10+ years of experience in digital engagement, communications, or marketing, preferably within the Catholic Church, nonprofit, or philanthropic sector.
5+ years of experience leading a high-performing team
Skills & Expertise:
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness and participation.
Experience collaborating with subject-matter experts to craft compelling communications that translate complex work into tangible impact for diverse audiences.
Superb understanding of social media platforms and the latest trends in digital engagement, including innovative uses as tools for marketing mission and for education/formation.
Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing communications metrics to assess effectiveness and inform strategy.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within teams and cross-functionally.
Familiarity and experience working with funders, especially private funders or community foundations, is preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms/tools.
Familiarity with HTML, website content management systems, and digital publishing processes.
Experience with project management software and social media monitoring tools.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily remote, with some travel to DMV headquarters.
