Executive Assistant (Full-Time | Non-Exempt)Messy Family Project - Steubenville, OH | Hybrid on-site/remote

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to Alicia Hernon, you'll be the organizational backbone for a fast-growing apostolate with global reach. From donor stewardship to event logistics, your work will keep our three pillars-award-winning podcast, virtual courses, and in-person getaways-running smoothly so families encounter Christ through their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will support the efforts of the Messy Family Project ministry assuming the following key responsibilities:
-Support for donor relations
-Travel logistics for Mike and Alicia
-Follow up for individual contacts and network prospects
-Management of all vendors
-Ordering and shipping supplies for office and retreats
-Minor bookkeeping
-Assisting Program Coordinator with customer relations database
-Support for events
-Assembling quarterly reports of key statistics
-Calendar management
-Compilation of department report to the Board of Trustees 3x a year
-Setting up meetings, managing minutes, and action items for Board of Trustees
-Other duties as assigned in a nimble nonprofit environment

Requirements
The successful candidate must understand, support, and embrace the mission of the Messy Family Project and be willing to work from Steubenville, OH or the surrounding area. In addition, he or she will possess the following:
Technical Skills
-Experience in Adobe Acrobat.
-Proficient with Excel and Google Drive
-Basic graphic design skills
-Experience with databases
-Willingness to learn processes
Non-Technical Skills & Competencies
-Customer service experience
-Ability to multitask
-Keen attention to detail
-Excellent organizational skills
-Ability to handle confidential material
Qualifications
Minimum of an associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years secretarial or administrative experience
Faith & mission fit - practicing Catholic strongly preferred; all applicants who can joyfully support Catholic teaching on marriage and family are welcome.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $17-$19.50 (~ $35k-$40k annual) + overtime when approved.
Generous PTO (15 days first year), 10 holy-day/holiday observances, paid volunteer day, and a quarterly spiritual retreat morning.
Remote flexibility after onboarding; occasional evenings/weekends (comp time provided).
