Campus Minister

Job Description

The campus minister is tasked with aiding the Chaplain in creating an environment within the Newman Center which fosters genuine friendships and develops a life of faith in Jesus Christ and His Church. The Campus Minister accomplishes this task by firstly desiring to grow in his/her own friendship with Christ each day through prayer, the Sacraments, and discipleship experiences. Flowing from this personal growth in a life of faith, the Campus Minister will develop and sustain discipleship opportunities, plan social events, coordinate retreat experiences, and maintain a strong "ministry of presence".
