Job Description
Director of Growth (Marketing & Engagement)***Location: Greater Philadelphia preferred. Remote possibility.
Help us scale our mission and transform lives.
Real Life Catholic exists to share the love of Jesus and help others do the same. Founded by Chris Stefanick, our work reaches millions through digital content, live events, and powerful media.
We are in a season of growth.
* Our content platform is expanding (daily/weekly emails, weekly YouTube show, strong social following)
* Our monthly donor base is growing (Missionaries of Joy)
* We are launching a national Confirmation prep series (CORE) later this year, unlike anything in existence.
We have a clear strategy and strong momentum, and we need someone to execute, optimize, and scale the mission.
The Role
We are looking for someone who does fantastic work, cares deeply about the mission, and is willing to dig in and take things to the next level. This is a high-level execution role, not a pure strategy one.
Your job is to turn consistent activity into measurable growth in:
* Email subscribers
* Social Engagement
* Monthly donors
* Product Sales
* Event Attendance
What You'll Do
Execute the Growth Engine
* Turn our growth priorities into clear weekly plans and campaigns
* Ensure consistent execution across content, email, and campaigns
* Keep projects moving and nothing falling through the cracks
Optimize for Performance
-Refine and build new funnels optimized for lead generation and conversion
-Improve conversion rates across:
* YouTube / FB / X / other social - email
* Email - donor
* Test and refine messaging, landing pages, and calls-to-action
* Identify what's working and double down on it
Run Email & Campaigns
* Oversee the execution of our daily / weekly email and campaign calendar
* Build and manage nurture sequences and donor journeys
* Execute fundraising and engagement campaigns
Support Launches (CORE + future)
* Build and manage timelines for launches
* Coordinate assets, emails, and promotions
* Work closely with internal team and external partners on launch strategies
* Ensure strong execution before, during, and after launch
Manage Day-to-Day Marketing Operations
* Oversee social media distribution and content rollout
* Coordinate across team members (content, video, design, etc.)
* Maintain clarity, organization, and momentum
Bring Tactical Ideas
* Suggest improvements based on what's working
* Identify opportunities to increase engagement and conversion
What We're Looking For
*Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing leadership, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
* Experience executing and managing marketing or growth campaigns end-to-end
*Demonstrated success in brand building, digital marketing, and audience engagement, specifically with proven growth of social media channels.
*Strong understanding of Catholic media, culture, and evangelization.
*Skilled in using marketing platforms including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite
*Strong working competency of generative AI tools
*Experience developing and tracking KPIs, marketing funnels, and performance reports.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
*Experience in website management (WordPress preferred).
*Leadership experience, including managing a team and collaborating with external partners.
This Role Is Not:
* A pure strategist role
* A marketing content producer role
* A design or aesthetic branding role
* A social-only role
* A passive coordinator role
This is for someone who thinks globally about marketing, gets things done, and makes systems work better over time.
What Success Looks Like
* Steady growth in email subscribers
* Measurable improvement in conversion rates
* Consistent growth in monthly donors
* Well-executed fundraising campaigns and product launches
* Growth and increased engagement on social media
* A marketing system that runs smoothly and reliably
You're not on your own...
* No one can do all of the above solely on their own.
* We have an internal and external team of people who handle details on several of these items now
* You will run the strategy, take on the critical work, and be able to utilize others when needed to ensure we hit what we need to each week.
* Bottom line: you'll roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty, and do it with an amazing team along the way.
Compensation
* Very competitive salary (based on experience)
* Excellent health benefits paid by RLC (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) with matching, Disability Insurance, PTO
* Flexible work environment
