Job Posting: Campus Minister & Middle School Religion Teacher
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School - Malverne, NY

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled and mission-driven Campus Minister & Middle School Religion Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position serves as both a classroom teacher and spiritual leader, helping students (grades 5-8) grow in faith, knowledge, and discipleship.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach religion to grades 5-8 using the Word of Life series and Diocesan curriculum.

Prepare students for Confirmation, including retreats and collaboration with the parish.

Coordinate and plan monthly School Masses with the Pastor, clergy, and Mrs. Laura Morr (Choir and Music).

Schedule and prepare students to serve as Lectors, Altar Servers, and other liturgical roles.

Support a strong Catholic identity across the school through pastoral presence and spiritual activities.

Use Google Workspace tools for instruction and communication.

Participate in school duties, events, and professional development.

Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic who lives in accordance with Church teachings.

Bachelor's degree in Theology, Education, or Catechetics (or related field).

Teaching experience with middle school students preferred.

Comfortable with educational technology (Google Classroom, Docs, etc.).

Willing to obtain Diocesan Theology Certification, if not already held.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with digital learning tools and blended instruction.

Willingness to lead or assist with extracurricular activities.
