Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required
• Valid teaching certification preferred or in progress
• Prior classroom teaching experience preferred, ideally in Grades K-8
• Practicing Catholic who is supportive of and committed to Catholic education and religious formation
• Strong knowledge of reading instruction, phonics, and foundational math skills and familiarity with developmentally appropriate instructional practices and classroom management techniques for Middle School ELA
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Maintain student records, including assessments, grades, and attendance, in accordance with school policies
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, resource personnel, and administration as needed
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events when applicable
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and faith formation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
