Job Description
Bishop Ireton High School has an opening for a full-time Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach one or more of the following: Physics, Biology, Chemistry. Interest in Engineering is also considered.Candidates will:
• demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment.
• have strong communication skills.
• possess a bachelor's degree in a science field; master's degree preferred.
• possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
• citizenship, residency or work visa required
Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check and take required in-person Virtus training.
