Job Description

SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER (PART TIME)

Bishop Ireton High School is seeking a part-time Social Studies teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach World History and/or U.S. History. Experience in advanced history or social science courses is a plus.

Candidates will:
• demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment.
• have strong communication skills.
• possess a bachelor's degree in History or related; master's degree preferred.
• possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
• citizenship, residency or work visa required
• promote the Catholic mission of the school
