Faith Formation
The office of Campus Ministry offers various opportunities for student and faculty involvement in retreats, service, worship, and community events. Students are required to take a Theology course every semester and perform service hours each year and reflect on their experiences.
Academics
The curriculum offers a wide range of challenging courses including Advanced Placement and honors classes. As a college preparatory school of 1,500 students, Bishop Gorman has a 98% college-bound rate. Each year the class boasts Scholars and Honors graduates. Last year's senior class received $35 million in scholarship offers and were accepted in some of the most prestigious colleges in the country. The placement exam, taken by all incoming freshmen, is intended to assist students in connection with their counselors to select appropriate courses. Each year our enrollment is at capacity with a wait pool. We also received applications from transfer students, most of which we could not accommodate due to space limitations. The tuition rate has been set for the 2025-2026 academic year at $16,200 which represents a 3.2% increase from the prior year. Last year we provided over $1.3 million in tuition assistance.
Athletics and Extracurricular Activities
Bishop Gorman is home of the Gaels and has a rich tradition of athletic excellence with over 100 State Championships in its history including four football national championships in the last decade. Fifty-nine percent of students participate in one of thirty-four different teams. The class of 2025 had 40 seniors receiving athletic scholarships to play at the college level. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and activities with over 40% of students participating in 45 opportunities. Our clubs and organizations often earn recognition in competitions. The Bishop Gorman Thespians have been Theatre State Champions for 8 years in a row and have won four national titles.
