Pay: $120 per day
Job Description
Holy Child Academy of Old Westbury is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Grade 5 Leave Replacement Teacher for an approximately one-month assignment (May 4 - June 11). This position requires a motivated educator who can maintain instructional continuity, foster a positive classroom environment, and support student learning across core subject areas.
Responsibilities
Implement daily lesson plans in core academic subjects
Maintain a structured, engaging, and respectful classroom environment
Support students' academic progress and social-emotional development
Communicate effectively with school administration and colleagues
Follow all school policies, procedures, and curriculum guidelines
Qualifications
Teaching experience at the elementary level preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt instruction as needed
Reliable, punctual, and professional
