We are currently seeking a Science Teacher with experience in Biology to join our faculty beginning August 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that address diverse learning needs.
Create and implement assessments to measure and support student growth.
Establish a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation.
Collaborate with fellow faculty members on interdisciplinary initiatives and instructional strategies.
Maintain clear, ongoing communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Stay informed of current trends in science education and integrate innovative teaching methods and technology into the classroom.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science-related field.
A valid North Carolina teaching license (or the ability to obtain one).
Experience teaching science at the high school level (grades 9-12).
Strong understanding of subject-specific teaching practices and pedagogy.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A passion for teaching and a dedication to student success.
Proficiency with instructional technology and a willingness to integrate tech tools into lessons.
Ability to contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular involvement and support of the school's mission.
