About Us
At Ora et Labora Catholic Counseling, our name reflects who we are: prayer (ora) and work (labora). We believe healing is rooted both in spiritual insight and skilled clinical practice. We are a growing, mission-driven virtual practice committed to delivering high-quality, faith-informed therapy to our clients. We emphasize the integration of Catholic faith and clinical excellence, cultivating a collaborative, supportive environment where clinicians can grow, serve, and thrive.

Position Overview
We are now hiring Pre-Licensed Clinicians who are passionate about combining their clinical work with their Catholic faith.

What We Offer

- Supportive growth environment: mentorship through your residency and encouragement to develop in therapeutic specialities
- Flexible hours: minimal starting required hours with potential to grow your caseload to full-time
- W-2 employment: less admin work, more time with clients, and greater work-life balance

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active residency/associate license (in Virginia or Maryland), or clear intent to start residency with an approved supervisor
- Approved supervisor for residency/licensure (as applicable)
- A strong desire to integrate Catholic faith into counseling practice

Preferred Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Availability for high-priority time slots: early mornings, evenings, weekends
- Advanced training or certification in a specific modality or therapeutic approach

Application Materials
Please submit the following to info@oelcounseling.com:
- Letter of intent (describe your interest, clinical passions, and professional goals)
- Curriculum vitae or resume
- Two professional references (with name, relationship, contact info)
- Documentation of your residency status or application (unless this would be your first residency site)

We review applications on a rolling basis and will reach out to qualified candidates for interviews.

Why Join Us?
- Make a meaningful impact by helping clients in a faith-centered context.
- Grow professionally while working in a values-aligned, mission-oriented practice.
- Be part of a collaborative team that supports your development and values your faith.

About the Employer

At Ora et Labora Catholic Counseling, our mission is to foster the restoration of the whole person through hope, understanding, and peace for those burdened by mental health concerns. Guided by the spirit of prayer and work, we help clients freely cultivate a deep dependence on God-one that empowers rather than diminishes their own responsibility and engagement in building a life of meaning and purpose.
