Part Time Evening Maintenance Technician
Want to put your maintenance skills and mechanical aptitude to work?

The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration are seeking a Part Time Evening Maintenance Technician to serve at our Convent, which is home to about 60 sisters.

The ideal candidate is respectable, responsible, reliable, and exhibits mechanical aptitude. Ability to self-direct is important being a 2nd shift position.

Requirements:

• Ability and stamina to navigate and walk multi-story buildings that cover a significant amount of square footage and the many acres on the property
• A valid driver's license
• Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members

Daily Activities:

• Building Rounds, including verifications, documentation of temperatures pressures, visual inspections, and adjustments
• Preventative Maintenance activities
• Turning on/off heating and cooling systems
• Property Rounds - access control and visual inspections
• Activities in the Maintenance Shop and Boiler House
• Trash and Laundry Rounds
• Snow removal of some areas in the winter
• Other activities as assigned

The hours are 3-11:30PM, 4 days every two weeks, including every other weekend. Some holidays are required.
