Position Overview

Stella Maris Academy is seeking applications from qualified and mission-aligned educators for current and future teaching opportunities. This posting is not limited to a specific grade level or subject area. Key Responsibilities

Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:
Teaching in accordance with the classical liberal arts tradition
Implementing a curriculum grounded in theology, phonics, classical literature, Latin, history, mathematics, and the sciences
Integrating Catholic faith and moral formation across subjects
Establishing an orderly, joyful, and disciplined classroom culture
Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents
Participating in school liturgical life, professional development, and community events
Supporting the school's mission and upholding its Catholic identity

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred)
Teaching experience strongly preferred
Commitment to the teachings and moral vision of the Catholic Church
Familiarity with or openness to classical pedagogy
Strong classroom management skills and professional demeanor
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Practicing Catholic preferred (required for certain roles)
