Preschool Director and CGS Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Catholic Preschool Director to oversee the daily operations of the Preschool program and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program (level 1 and 2) at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, including staff management, curriculum development, budgeting and financial planning, and ensuring compliance with diocesan, county, and state regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall academic, social, and emotional development of the preschool children (ages 2 1/2 - 5 year old) and CGS students (ages 3-9 year old) in the programs. The Preschool Director also acts as a role model for staff and ensures a safe and secure learning environment for the children. We are a Religiously Exempt Catholic Stand Alone Preschool within the Diocese of Arlington that fosters play based curriculum and offers Catechesis of the Good Shepherd faith based learning.
