Job Description

Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church is seeking a full-time Adult Faith Formation Coordinator to lead and grow the parish's adult evangelization and formation efforts.
This role is responsible for developing and overseeing all adult faith formation programs, including the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) and adult Confirmation. The coordinator will recruit and support volunteer catechists, guide small groups and Bible studies, and organize parish missions, retreats, and workshops. This position collaborates closely with parish staff to ensure a unified, family-centered approach to discipleship.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a strong knowledge of Church teaching and experience in adult faith formation and OCIA. A bachelor's degree or Master Certification in theology or a related field is required, along with prior parish ministry experience. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are essential. Some evening and weekend availability is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
