Job Description
Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, the Assistant Clinic Manager helps oversee the daily client operations of Women's Help Center, ensuring all locations maintain the same high-level of client care. The Assistant Clinic Manger participates in the development of programs and services, working in conjunction with administration, staff, and volunteers to ensure that all clients receive the best possible care.The Assistant Clinic Manager is a liaison between the Medical Director and clinic staff and reports to the Clinic Manager and Executive Director. They also supervise paid and volunteer staff in the absence of the Clinic Manager, Executive Director, or Medical Director. Occasional weekend (Saturday) work is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Demonstrates a vibrant, relationship with Jesus Christ and is actively engaged in regular weekly church attendance.
2. Exhibits commitment and dedication to the pro-life position held by Women's Help Center and agrees with the Women's Help Center Mission Statement, Articles of Incorporation, and By-Laws
3. Holds current RN licensure in good standing in accordance with the Florida Board of Nursing
4. Exhibits strong interpersonal and spiritual skills; possess the ability to take initiative and solve problems
5. Maintains a consistent life-affirming stance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
~Reinforce the dignity and humanity of the client and unborn child at all times
~Ensure a high standard of client care
~Help supervise services for clients, inclusive of pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and life-affirming options counseling
~Counsel clients both in person and over the phone; perform ultrasounds (if certified) when sonographer is unavailable
~Ensure that centers maintain accurate documentation of care and follow through of the Medical Director's standing orders
~Provide education and appropriate referrals to clients, as needed
~Ensure accurate implementation of physician standing orders and advises the Clinic Manager of client progress or problems as indicated
~ Assist the Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and Executive Director in formulation/revision of policies and procedures related to center functions as needed
~Ensure that medical procedures are conducted in accordance with those approved by the Medical Director
~Provide prompt disclosure of any medical problems that arise in the clinic to the Clinic Manager, Medical Director, and Executive Director
~Assist the Clinic Manager and Executive Director in the development and implementation of performance/competency evaluation program for staff/volunteers
~Assist the Clinic Manager and Medical Director in the development and implementation of any additional medical programs
~Supervise client file reviews according to policy and procedures
~Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines for training; assist in renewal of all medical agreements and licenses, including but not limited to CLIA waiver, and hazardous waste
~Assist with required orientation training for new staff and volunteers
~Assist in all aspects of ministry functions as needed
~Maintain current knowledge of federal/state/local regulations that govern job performance and center operations
~Perform any other duties and assume additional responsibilities as requested by Clinic Manager and/or Executive Director in order to maintain smooth and consistent operations of Women's Help Center
