Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Housekeeper for Monday-Friday, day shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) to assist in cleaning and maintaining a convent home for elderly Franciscan sisters and priests in Enfield, CT. This includes a weekend rotation every 4 weeks with the rest of the housekeeping team. A weekday schedule adjustment will be made during the week of the weekend shift.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.62 - $27.52. **Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.**

General Summary:

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping/cleaning experience ( commercial/environmental cleaning experience is a plus!)
Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
High school graduate or equivalent required.
