Job Description

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs), to provide resident-focused, quality care for the elder Franciscan sisters
A full-time CNA position on afternoons (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/ Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga)

The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.83 - $25.11 for Nurse Aides and CNAs. **Wages/pay rate will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.**

Responsibilities:

Our CNA / Caregiver provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
